Terms and Conditions
These terms and conditions ("Terms") govern the provision of tutoring services by Chris Paul Tuition ("we," "our," "us") to you, the client ("you," "your"). By booking a tutoring session with us, you agree to these Terms.
1. Payment Terms
- Payments for group lessons: Full payment is required before the start of each term.
- Payments for individual lessons are made either on the day of the lesson or before it.
- Payment Method: Payments can be made via bank transfer (account details will be provided on enrolment)
- Group lessons are non-refundable if a student misses a lesson, but catch-up classes may be offered if possible.
2. Cancellation and Rescheduling (group lessons)
If the teacher is unavailable due to illness or other unforeseen circumstances, alternative arrangements will be made where possible, or a refund will be provided for any sessions not delivered.
3. Child Information and Medical Details
- Contact Information: It is required that you provide up-to-date contact details for the child receiving tutoring.
- Medical Information: Any medical conditions, allergies, or special requirements must be disclosed before the start of tutoring. This is to ensure the safety and well-being of the child during sessions.
4. GDPR Compliance
- We are committed to protecting the privacy and security of your personal information. In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), any personal data collected, such as contact and medical information, will only be used for the purpose of delivering tutoring services.
- We will not share your personal data with third parties unless required by law or with your explicit consent.
- Chris Paul Tuition is registered with the ICO.
5. Teacher / Student Conduct
Our teachers are qualified, professional and committed to providing the best educational experience for your child. However, we reserve the right to discontinue services if any inappropriate, disruptive or abusive behaviour is exhibited by the student or parent or if the client fails to comply with these Terms.
6. Liability
Chris Paul Tuition will take all reasonable precautions to ensure the safety and well-being of the student during sessions. All teachers will have their teaching qualifications verified and will have a current enhanced DBS check. However, we cannot accept liability for any accidents, injuries, or damage that may occur during a tutoring session, except in cases of negligence on our part.
7. Amendments to Terms
These Terms and Conditions may be updated or amended from time to time. Clients will be notified of any significant changes, and the updated Terms will be available for review.
8. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom, and any disputes arising will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that region.
9. The teacher is not responsible for any exam results. The teacher can only facilitate learning and cannot guarantee any outcome in an external exam.
